Pros
ODP provides an average sense of belonging. This company can be a good place to start your career. There are opportunities to gain experience quickly because new hires are given a lot of responsibility.
Cons
There is a tendency to restructure the sales team too often, reducing customer connection when reps are reassigned territories too frequently. Compensation structure is also modified every 2-3 years, which can be taxing on the employees. Separating the inventory management team into its own business unit called Veyer has created an adversarial situation between one side trying to limit inventory, while the other (selling) side is running out of product to meet customer expectations.
