Pros

Good salary for an entry level role Ability to WFH

Cons

'Grindset' culture. Long working hours with no remuneration/time in lieu. Cut -throat industry with unjustifiably tight deadlines. Condescending and patronising management. Poor work/life balance. Huge focus on profit Inadequate training. Lack of openness to change. Difficult to take annual leave. Often uninteresting work. Shockingly bad sick pay allowance.

Thank you for your comments, we work hard to ensure we are competitive and can provide a great learning environment for all of our talent. Giving flexibility is key for us as it allows our people to pivot around delivering exceptional services to our clients but also to meet their needs of their private lives. We are sorry to hear you feel you have to work long hours, we seek to give people flexibility as you highlighted, we offer work from home and freedom to balance priorities, this might mean you may work different hours or times when the client may demand more but we flex to give balance. Many people enjoy this flexibility offered. We would encourage anyone who is unable to take leave to have a discussion with their leader so that the right balance can be found. We provide support that our people need when they are sick and have implemented Mental Health Allies and Employee Assistance Programme to ensure support is in place. We have invested significantly in the learning and development of our people but we will continue to focus further on this in the coming months and years ahead.

Pros

Some seniors empathise but not

Cons

You are treated like a robot who has to attain a certain percentage of billable hours or else. You are micromanaged beyond belief. They ask for good quality research but don't give you the time to think and develop things. Junior staff are treated like slaves and senior staff only know how to comment that their work is 'not good' and so much time is wasted going back and forth. Management do not care AT ALL about staff wellbeing. We are all meant to be machines. I am also not so sure about the new CEO.
