Pros

KAR continues to promote and reward leadership at all levels of the organization. Ownership and accountability are expected of all employees and there are opportunities for personal development, and challenging work. Engaged workers have the chance to shape the future of the organization.

Cons

We are living in the messy middle, and change isn't easy. We are not yet the model of stability and the resolution of technical debt and establishment of sustainable process and practice are very painful. Employees are expected to give more than 40 hours per week when necessary. Some more work on promoting from within is merited, how much personal risk are the leadership teams taking when grooming and selecting their replacements?
