      IT industry so possibly good for longevity.

      Owner controlled company, and that is not a good thing.

      Are you referring to Oasis Solutions, the value added reseller for NetSuite and Sage products? I believe this post may have been made in error...because Oasis has multiple owners, all active in the organization and serving on the leadership team. All privately held companies are owner controlled, I suppose. We run Oasis based on our core values and we encourage feedback from our team members to help us create an environment of camaraderie and mutual success. We have instituted profit/revenue sharing into our compensation plans across the entire company to ensure team members who contribute to Oasis' success benefit alongside the organization. If this is post was from a previous employee, I am discouraged to get this feedback and encourage you to reach out directly to provide more detail so that we can improve.

      Pros

      I searched for 10 years to find a company that shares my values for hard work (without burning you out) and creating a collaborative relationship with its clients. Oasis Solutions is not just paying lip service to their core values. They are at the heart of how they do business.

      Cons

      You will earn your money and you will need to continually learn. It's a natural part of being in the technology business.

Leadership is always willing to listen and quick to address issues and even quicker to offer praise and show appreciation. You'll always have the opportunity to learn something new. Team members are some of the kindest, funniest, skilled, and knowledgeable people you'll ever meet! Our work is challenging and rewarding as we help our clients solve problems, grow, and succeed.

      Health insurance isn't the greatest.

      What an awesome review and testament to our team and the culture we've built here at Oasis. We will always strive to welcome the absolute BEST team members into our organization and keep our ears open to recommendations. Regarding health insurance, the market unfortunately is the largest driver of our insurance offerings. We are a rare breed when it comes to offering to pay for our employee's health insurance and we will continue to negotiate ardently with the big insurance companies and find ways to improve our offerings and keep costs low. However, I can candidly say that it's been a struggle as the large insurance companies continue to squeeze small employers and we have little recourse to raising rates. We can either cut benefits or increase costs and neither are good options.
