Pros
Here, employees not only have the benefits of a big company, like job security, benefits, and more career opportunities, but they also enjoy many advantages of a smaller company, as well. This is a people-oriented institution. It treats employees as valuable individuals — employees’ work has high visibility, and good work is recognized and rewarded quickly.
Cons
As a former employee, I enjoyed working for Coherent. There were no obvious cons to working here for me, it just wasn’t right in the long-term.
