Pros

Decent health plans, good people.

Cons

Company recently transitioned all ATLs from salary to hourly, took our bonuses away, reduced our life insurance and took long term disability away.

Pros

The benefits are great. No 401k match, but health benefits are good.

Cons

This is a private company, which means you have not just one job, but 7. The company is extremely frugal, when it comes to labor. You’re promised a lot, but it never happens or it takes forever. Your male counterparts will always be ahead of you, so don’t even bother trying to be elevated or promoted. There are some women in “leadership” roles but it's very few and it’s just to check off a box or they’ve sold their soul to the company. There is a lot of favoritism. There are "old timer" people still working there that take up most of the salary doing next to nothing or sitting on countless useless conference calls to pass the time but earn still earn a large paycheck, while you clean up the mess of their mistakes and deal with the problems they left behind or created (while making a dismal laughable salary). There’s no support from leadership. During touchbases it’s highly likely your boss won’t pay attention to you or make eye contact, because they’re preoccupied elsewhere or are “putting out” so many fires. It’s unfortunate but so many people are miserable and they don’t see it, the only thing that keeps a lot of people there (including myself) was the shared misery of being there with my other coworkers because they felt similarly or the same. Everything is a knee jerk reaction in this high stress environment and you will work so fast and on so many things you will most likely burnout from the stress or overwhelm of trying to keep up, which is convenient since the health benefits are great and you’ll highly likely need those to take care of yourself since your mental and physical health will be in the trash. You will never have time off, and if you do, expect to be on email or checking chats. The expectations continue to be unrealistic while you are grossly underpaid. Their “hybrid” strategy for corporate is also a joke, since their favorite associates can work remotely (some in different states) no questions asked and the ones that are high performers are questioned about why they aren’t in the office 5 days a week. Or their favorite workers just leave in the middle of the day. This is a high gossip environment while no one is held accountable. If you enjoy working in a high stress environment with a dead end career, being lied to and gossiped about, while being part of a boys club, this is the perfect company for you!

Pros

Employee Discount and the team I work with

Cons

New positions mean doing the work of 2 or 3 people and not getting a raise for it. Trying to keep up with the insane amount of freight (most of which we don't need), run a department, and be pulled to run a register and cover service desk is completely ridiculous. You are putting a lot of added pressure on the few employees which actually show up everyday. It would be nice if the front end had its own set of people so that floor people could focus on what needs to be done instead of being pulled in 5 different directions.
