A good company at heart, but there are issues that need to be resolved.

1. The company benefits and salary are very competitive. 2. The company really does try to take care of it's employees. 3. There are many departments in the company and many opportunities for advancement.

Cons

1. The company as a whole is very disorganized and lacking a clear vision for the future. 2. The IT department locks down computers so much that it is difficult to get work done. 3. The required training and the system that it is implemented in are bloated, confusing, time consuming, and frequently do not work. 4. The company is very top heavy.

Exposure to variety of projects and good experience to move on to bigger and better things - Oceaneering is an excellent stepping stone ; not a career end game - nothing more.

Cons

Pathetically adolescent company culture at senior levels with no concept of employees being a company Core Value (as they are at just about any other successful enterprise)

No pros, all cons, not a good workplace

Cons

I've never seen so many directors and managers so afraid of top management to the point that they back stab their peers and mislead the truth which causes mistrust through-out the IT dept. The IT Dept is managed by keeping everyone off balance making all mid-management and employees paranoid to loose their job or have their salary reduced. It's management by intimidation, bullying and dishonesty, that filters down to the lowest levels.
