Pros

Great work is recognized, celebrated and rewarded at every level. There is a strong sense of teamwork that stems from ongoing support and encouragement from senior leaders.

Cons

No real cons. This is a tough question to answer because I don't feel I have to "settle" for anything by working here.

Although stressful at times, working at Lafayette General is a career, not a job. The work is meaningful.

Pros

I like what I do. There are so many good, caring people that it makes the work rewarding. Despite what anybody says, the pay is competitive.

Cons

As the organization has grown into a larger system, many things have become "corporate". The HR department is terrible, no employee retention programs of value.
