Pros
Lovely colleagues. Decent enough perks but would rather no perks and decent pay instead.
Cons
Low pay. Unmanageable workload. High stress - significant number of colleagues off with stress leave which was my first red flag. No HR. Management are mostly in their 20s and have no management experience. Constant process changes rolled out without trials or asking the people who actually do the job for feedback before rolling out. Overall Octopus lulls you in during the induction about how amazing they are to work for and what a great career you can build. This is not true. It's all smoke and mirrors. They also send you this glass door review to fill out during your induction which is why there are so many positives reviews from people who have only been working there a month or so.
