Pros

Attrition slow down Lots new hires

Cons

Ou does not value the people who works, only care about who can talk. In year 18/19, we got 70% attrition rate of engineering team. It ends up with 2 mangers in each team with only 1 eng. After hired lots of new people in last 2 months, still not make up the lost.

Pros

Really liked the people I worked with. Everyone I was hired with are some of the best guys I’ve had the chance to work with. Most of my team was helpful and wanted to help out. This was nice because managers aren’t always at their desks to approve your deals. Lots of good snacks and free food. Most people from other areas were nice and friendly.

Cons

4 pay cuts to commission in 3 months. Commission’s are now less than half of what you can make at other sales companies in Seattle and Bellevue. Outside of selling, not many opportunities to grow inside the company.

Pros

I can't think of a single "pro".

Cons

The very people who should lead by example (VPs/CEO),will habitually pass you by and make an effort to avoid/ignore your presence. As with most companies these days this one will use you until they have no use for you, then show you the door with no warning or remorse. Again while its not uncommon, for Offerup to be so small this behavior is disgusting especially when they pride themselves on being"#neighborly".
