      Commited to making OD a family like place to work While it is a large company it feels like a small one due to close relationships Company cares about doing the right thing no matter what negatives have come in from outside sources The company is dedicated to providing our customers the best value and service as a solutions provider I have always been treated with respect and dignity. If you work hard at OD and give you rbest you can have a great career and lots of great relstionships with customers and fellow employees

      Cons

      Somtimes when you are a large company, there is an element of people who are not committed to doing the right thing and that hursts all of us. You can't have a perfect company since people aren't perfect.

      Job Threatened if You Don't Sell Services!

      Most of the reasons have been taken away! i.e. Bonuses, Stock options, 401k match, benefit prices have increased, etc... The nice thing is that District Managers and Loss Prevention District Managers are of lower quality from in the past. Most of the managers know the processes better then the DM's, therefore the Store Managers run the district.

      Cons

      All the DM's are worried about are selling services like warranties and tech services. The DM's don't care how you get the number.... just get the number. DM's encourage unethical techniques to getting these numbers. They encourage you just enough to keep their hands clean. If you, the store manager, gets caught, then you are the one fired. If possible unethical situations are brought to the DM's attention, it will be overlooked.
