      Not a Place for an IT PM

      Pros

      Office Depot has very mature IT systems and processes and skilled/knowledgeable people.

      Cons

      This is not the place for an IT Project Manager. All the responsibility, influence, and impacting work resides with the IT Leads/Development Managers and the functional leads. They are the real managers who deliver solutions. Trying to actually learn something about the business or the way it functions is almost impossible. If you want to push paper, then join ODP as an IT PM.
