Pros

Friendly atmosphere, pleasant co-workers. Neat and clean store with merchandise in the retail part of the store well displayed.

Cons

The copy center is a disaster. No one in local, regional, or corporate management have the remotest idea of how a print and copy center should work. Spoilage is 10-20x maximum acceptable. Profitable equipment needs service and often you have to wait months to get it repaired. Associates receive training in the other departments, but virtually no training other than OJT in the P&C.Bindery and equipment tables are not allowed because they are not attractive to the customer. Equipment is required to be lined up against a wall with insufficient work area, making it look neat like the equipment was displayed for sale. Management claims P&C is one of the most profitable centers in the store, indicating something is wrong with their books. A small commercial shop could not stay in business more than a few months with this type of operation. This review is for P&C specifically and not other departments, which appear to be well run. Even so, I loved the work. I give the company an F for P&C and a B+ for all other departments.

Pros

At my store at least, there was a lot of teamwork and competency both from the supervisors and most of the team. There is a bonus that employees can earn each month for winning a drawing of $50, which can definitely help out especially when you are not expecting it.

Cons

The starting pay is terrible and the continuing annual raise are garbage. When I got a 3% raise out of a total 5%, and hadn't even received a raise the year before, I was a tad perturbed to say the least. It wasn't my first job and I KNOW how to work with all kinds of people from all types of backgrounds. The only job I took on that I hadn't done before was the Copy and Print Department, and for all the workload you do, you only start out at a measly minimum wage unless you have some prior experience which if you do, don't waste you're time. Go to a print shop instead.
