Pros

Big Agency Experience opens doors. Jobs seem to be secure.

Cons

It seems that they keep bringing in young upstarts that think they can move up through the ranks but really they are there to keep the company in touch with the times. And others who have been there spend more time clinging to their positions than reaching for more.

Pros

Excellent training and experience - When you handle an account, you do everything (client-servicing, media relations and copywriting), so you learn and ideally master all the areas of public relations. If you can handle Ogilvy PR and its top-caliber clients, you can handle anything.

Cons

Very poor work-life balance - the work day is typically 12 hours and you will always have events on weeknights/weekends that you do not get paid overtime for.

Pros

A fun atomsphere. Casual workplace. Great people/co-workers.

Cons

No work/life balance- numerous all-nighters. Work was not challenging or simulating. Pay poor especially given what the client is paying for your time. Also, Creative is King at Ogilvy... Sometimes when math/analytics meets creativity-the Creative guys will always win the battle.
