I don’t know where to start on this. First they promised me 40 hours and gave me 30 at best. They microwave half of their menu items. They also cut my hours from 30 to 10 because I stood up to management about how it’s unprofessional it is to order food in the middle of service and talk to me like me I’m stupid. Too make it all worse they still have not paid me and it’s been over 3 months. I’m sure not all old Chicago’s are like this but the one I worked at I wouldn’t trust the management tuning bath let alone a restaurant.

You will work 8-10 hours a day up to 5 days a week that's not a double if you work what they consider a double that's about 12 hours + NO breaks hardly any air conditioning in the building making servers sick at 86 degrees now imagine holding hot plates and running food your body temp is way above 86 degrees its114 degrees in Arizona they will put you outside in that weather at some point when it's that hot the misters don't do much. When we 1st opened we were being tipped out at the end of the night last I know of they are depositing the tips once a week on some sort of pay card company is corporate. The worst part is everyone runs everyone's food and it can become hectic and confusing especially if something is wrong with the order then you will have to hunt down the server while your table is left waiting for you Or if you just got sat! If we all focused on our own tables and held accountable for that and just help eachother when needed everything would be alot smoother. You will be double and triple sat often. You have to tip out the bartender and in most restaurants that makes sense but here I don't understand why if we have to run the food for them and wait for one of them to take it from us with trays / Jack's and hot plates in our hands if im your runner and you are the bartender I feel like we are even plus they want you to get ice etc for them having 3-4 bartenders behind the bar they should be able to handle it. The place lacks good customer service because it's not available to give the guest a good experience. It's a job for now but not for the long term honestly not worth working for a server wage you will make about 50$ to 60 in tips a night more on the weekend. The clientele can be questionable/ shady at times and the foods not so great. Constant mistakes from boh etc and when the item gets comped it brings the ticket price down and some guest will tip off the lower amount. Company does use aloha but have managed to complicate that too.
