      Pros

      Nothing about old dominion is good. Harsh on employees. Strict attendance policy. No excuses granite for even if you’re single dad. No moving up in the company Every worker drives a forklift.

      Cons

      Freezing winters with 300 load doors all open and snow and wind in your face while you drive forklift. 7 min walk in order to clock in. No personL or sick days

      Pros

      great pay. laid back atmosphere. good bennies.

      Cons

      can have very long days with short turn-arounds. makes for short night if you work 13-14 hours, need to drive home, eat dinner, and then be back at work 10 hours later. Can't do much else except sleep & work during your 5 days on, forget about having hobbies as a linehaul driver.

      Pros

      Top notch equipment, locations, and freight. On site mechanics fix issues in minutes, not hours. Dispatch answers phone, no waiting around on hold. Pay and benefits excellent, management cares about the employees.

      Cons

      Using federal transportation regulation loopholes to aviod paying local drivers overtime until you reach 12 hours a day, or 60 or more in a week. Standard practice within the industry.
