It is great to work at ODU while being a student. You have a flexibility needed and any assistance you may need you can obtain. You also gain much experience if the job relates to your degree area.

An organization in which the individual is cherished and allowed to excel. The more that one invests in the organization the greater the rewards, not only for ODU, but also for the person.

Cons

It is a state academic institution, which brings with it some benefits such as security but also some cons, such as the amount of paperwork required for every little task. Decisions are also constrained by what people perceive to be state limiting factors, which in many cases don't even really exist.
