Toxic Work Place

Pros

Benefits and dress code were great. Co-workers great.

Cons

Lack of communication, poor management, salaries below standard. No advancement or acknowledgement unless you speak Spanish, which was not a requirement when hired. Most people are afraid to offer opinions or suggestions that are not what management wants, you will be let go if you do. CEO goes through executive assistants like water. If you aren't a specific "type" you're out. No respect.

Horrible Company

Pros

Good Benefits, some employees are nice - emphasis on some, diversity in the workplace, flexibility with schedule.

Cons

CEO is promiscuous within the company, no employee appreciation, the company pays less than the average salary market rate, HR is PR, projects start rushed and last-minute but never get finished, huge focus on quantity not quality of work, budget is too busy being spent on partying rather than applying it to relevant resources that would benefit the company and it's employees.

Lousy place to work

Pros

The pay is decent and they are established in the broadcast industry. Have some good customers. Not a real player with other services they offer. Work life balance is OK.

Cons

Management does not keep up with current trends. Sadly, those who manage the technology groups have no technical skills themselves. They could use more relevant technology but do not. The industry is changing, but they are stuck in the old ways of doing things. No career growth potential at all. Management is often hostile toward employees & are always scrambling about trying to fix problems. They are always in reactive mode rather than proactive mode. Seems they are always going from one crisis to the next. Poorly run business.
