Location in Cherry Creek is nice, parking provided.

Cons

Old school mentality with business dress code. From the top down, yelling and screaming and masculine (I'm a man) culture leads to poor morale. Old, crappy bldg.

Great benefits - matching 401k, half your insurance deductible paid, good increasing vacation accrual, annual raises.

Cons

Just like any other company - profits come first. Happy to make too few people do the job of many.

Pros

Railroading is a cool profession. I feel good about helping to run trains on-time and provide good service to customers. Some of the managers are very progressive and try to be helpful. And the company has a Fun Committee to coordinate employee events, which is also cool.

Cons

Sometimes you can feel unappreciated as the company focuses on achieving business goals, but I can see steps being taken to improve the culture.
