The pay was good and they had good healthcare and benefits. If you need to work extra hours, they are readily available.

Cons

The management was horrible and very degrading to employees. Schedule is not flexible at all. Treated staff like little children.

They will hire someone with no pharmacy experience, and you learn a lot about a lot of different aspects of pharmacy depending on your location.

Cons

I was a supervisor in charge of 13 people and made less then $12 an hour. I was promised raise after raise and never got one. I ended up working 60+ hours due to the site's management believing that I should fill prescriptions for 40 hours and then do everything else (scheduling, reviews, payroll, prepare employee meetings/trainings, disciplinary action) on top of it while regional HR believed I should sit at my desk all day to do my administrative work. Basically I was caught in the middle of 2 different work models and getting it from both sides. Turnover was terrible at all levels- 18 pharmacists left in 3 years. 18! Some didn't even make it 6 months they couldn't stand it. I'm not even sure how many technicians came and went in that time. Going out on stress leave or to deal with some sort of omnicare inflicted anxiety disorder was a badge of honor there.
