Pros

Great opportunity to work on big project, get along with very experienced people and learn from their experties

Cons

Due to the nature of bigger companies, this is very different than working on startups, the processes take longer, feel more automated and "protocol"ish, like requesting access to something or asking for a process change/enhancement, decisions are made collectively rather than one person, which is required to run at scale but this might become a headache at some point

Pros

Remote work flexibility. Exposure to enterprise-scale projects. Opportunity to work with different stakeholders and teams.

Cons

No company-provided laptop for remote employees, requiring the use of personal equipment for daily work. Lack of clear processes and governance. Many discussions and decisions are handled through ad-hoc calls and lengthy email threads rather than well-defined workflows. Communication can be fragmented, with business analysts, development teams, and documentation often not fully aligned. Requirements, business rules, and data documentation are sometimes maintained across different sources, making it difficult to obtain a single, consistent view of the project. Limited onboarding and knowledge transfer for new joiners, especially when joining during critical project delivery periods. Strong emphasis on availability and responsiveness, which may not suit employees who prefer uninterrupted focus time for complex technical tasks. Compensation is below market expectations for similar roles and experience levels. No company-provided laptop for remote employees, requiring the use of personal equipment for daily work. Frequent meetings and communication overhead can impact productivity and reduce time available for focused technical work.
