Thank you for your candid review. We care about each teammate's experience and genuinely want to create a culture where the whole team can thrive. We’re sorry to hear this wasn't entirely your experience. We know leaders have a profound influence on how people feel, grow, and connect, and we’re continuing to strengthen leadership onboarding and training to ensure managers are better equipped to support their teams. We also recognize the impact that understaffing and high turnover can have on happiness and performance, and so building sustainable teams and ensuring fair workloads are priorities we’re actively working on. We'll take on your comments to improve.

Pros

Great discounts, uniform credits every quarter and helpful coworkers

Cons

Leadership tends to show favoritism, which can be demoralizing for those who consistently go above and beyond without recognition or compensation. There is a noticeable lack of accountability for some in management positions, with limited visibility into their contributions and inconsistent standards for performance. Efforts and ideas from team members are often overlooked unless they come from “preferred” individuals. The lack of transparency in promotions and raises contributes to low morale and high turnover. As for leadership, you can tell there’s not enough bandwidth for lead store advisors and assistant store leads because there is a lack of direction, lack of actual store involvement and professional leadership from store leaders. There’s also a lot of external hiring for those top store roles while there is amazing talent within.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. Leadership is a process and we’re continuing to work on this. Being a leader at On includes ongoing training to empower managers to lead with clarity, inclusivity, and accountability. We also recognize the importance of creating open, safe channels for feedback, where everyone feels heard without fear of retaliation – something we have taken into consideration as we roll out new upward feedback processes and our annual Engagement Survey. We also recently completed a review of our compensation and benefit packages and continue to focus on rewarding our teams. Your input will help guide further improvements.
