Unethical team at the top - need I say more?

Pros

Snacks, fizzy water machine, 401match, 90% company-paid premiums ... although with Verily taking over, I think we’ll get more, better food and have to pay more for health insurance.

Cons

As a manager, I find this place to be deceptive either by spinning stories or hiding truth. Examples: no straight story on the Units of Appreciation Rights, the valuation of the company. All stories on others leaving have a positive spin. There is no real or honest discussion of mistakes or things that aren’t going well.

Pros

Mission-driven, work contributes to healthcare everyday. Nice co-workers. Get to be involved in lots of projects and do new things.

Cons

This place = lots of work. Projects have quick turnarounds and it can be hard to meet with essential people since everyone is so busy.

Pros

Sometimes we have beer, we have standing desks. Our mission is awesome IF we ever succeed, but the odds are long on that right now. Pay and benefits are above average.

Cons

Favorites are played, incompetence is tolerated, can't retain good talent and can't get rid of toxic individuals. It's the worst company with the best goals/mission I've ever seen, and I've been in healthcare for over 10 years.
