Pros

-Lots of young people who are excited to be part of something different. -Co-workers are mostly outgoing and fun to be around. -Good place to work for nurse practitioners and physician assistants, as they are frequently promoted above physicians. (The company has a "everyone is equal" philosophy regardless of degree.) -Nice, pretty office spaces. -The Marketing department does a phenomenal job promoting the company.

Cons

-Patient satisfaction is the utmost drive for the company. The company goes so far as to not defend its clinicians when patient demands are unreasonable. (The company does not admit to this, which makes the working environment for clinicians even worse.) -Lots of turn-over. This really shows how employees are dissatisfied with the company. -There is a huge nepotism within the company. As a result, the employees who get promoted are usually the least respected among peers, resulting in great employees leaving. -Most employees find new jobs after 2 years. The ones who stay longer than 2 years does not appear to have prospects for any other job. -When employees are informally surveyed, most state that the reason for working for the company is because it is "an easy job." One Medical Group attracts employees who are not motivated beyond "an easy job." -Most of the clinicians would not refer their friends or family members to the company for medical care. -One Medical Group is marketed as a medical office that is different from all others (same day or next day appointments, Email access to doctors, friendly receptionists, etc.), but many other medical groups offer these benefits and without a membership fee. The only thing that One Medical Group differentiates itself if its nice furniture. -The clinical side of the company is frequently neglected. This is a medical office, after all, but the business side of the company gets the most attention and care.

Pros

The docs, NPs, and admins are all great people with a great attitude.

Cons

The CEO is the worst... cultivating a culture of fear and animosity amongst the corporate/management team.

Pros

The people make this place!! Great personalities and truly caring individuals that want to see change in a broken healthcare system. A great place to break into the healthcare field.

Cons

Compensation and Benefits are serioulsy lacking considering the cities OMG is in, and the high quality of work expected and produced- low starting pay, no merit based raises, no 401K matching, no stock options, and very little room for advancement.
