Upper-level micromanagement, underpaid employees, high attrition, bad hiring choices - they have it all.

Pros

It started off as a happy place to work at, with people who cared about their customers and their co-workers equally. The upper management had their ears open to suggestions from consultants but that changed as well.

Cons

Low compensation for the amount or work. Blaming the last person in the chain for everything, favoritism, and on the whole a poisonous work environment in the end. They hire new people who take time to ramp up and ignore existing team members who are all overworked and over-stressed due to all the above reasons.

We are sorry that you feel the way you do about OneSource Virtual and did not meet your needs as a valued team member. We are not perfect all of the time, but have a innovative mindset and are constantly changing our ways to be great. Beginning in 2014, we sent all of our leaders through a 20 week leadership training course to equip them in all areas of running a successful team, That same leadership program is now being rolled out to other key team members and additional employee driven courses that drives quality and raving customers. We are training and mentoring organization and it starts during the new hires first 60 days. There is a large cost to the 60 day on-boarding process, but it has decreased the amount of time to ramp up a new team member to be effective. This has helped our existing team members with not having to take on multiple projects and increase the work life balance.

Great people, great values, SOME wonderful managers and schedule flexibility.

Cons

Employees are highly under compensated, benefits are poor, top performers are under appreciated and over worked, family favorites trump performance, too many political games, lack of training and poor internal/external communication skills.

Taking time off is extremely difficult due to exceptionally high workload and the process needed to be taken to find backups. No set number of vacation days so employees don't get paid for unused PTO when they leave. During a monthly all-company meeting, the CEO expressed his strong opposition to a vaccine mandate and strong opposition to wearing masks in the office.

However, your mental health and well-being are most important. We encourage you to take time as needed. Reach out to your manager or your HR Business Partner to discuss your specific situation and let us know how we can help. Value #8 is Seek the Best for Others at OSV. We want to ensure we are doing the right thing for the entire company and that is following the current CDC guidelines with respect to mask wearing. We believe employees would feel most comfortable at home without having to wear a mask indoors for the duration of the day. Regarding the vaccination mandate, we are waiting on more information from the Department of Labor per guidance, requirements, rules, exemptions, etc. Since we don’t have any of that information as of today, we will remain status quo with the majority of the workforce continuing to work from home. We will continue to monitor the situation. Our employees’ health and safety will always remain a top priority for us.
