Pros
It was a better situation than telemarketing.
Cons
They would change requirements for the calls, the programs, the shift times, whatever, at their own whim. We had no assigned cubicles, it was catch as catch can with seating; supervisors would be changed, and there was not really enough time or respect for the human being. The computers were old and would break down occasionally and take a long time to get back up and running. At first we did sales and there were commissions. When management saw how much some people were able to make, commissions disappeared. But to be fair, it was not a bad working environment, and what I commented on took place four years ago. I don't know how they may have changed to a more employee- compassionate environment.
