Worst Job in a lifetime

Pros

Prize giveaways, laid back environment, other employees are nice.

Cons

This has got to be one of the worst companies I've ever worked for in my entire life. As a Customer Service Rep, they want you to upsell to angry customers. It's all about sales, sales, sales. I thought that's why most company hire sales rep. Boss will call you on your day off, the work environment is extremely loud with people walking on the floor loudly praising those that make a sale. I quit after 2 months and the only reason I stayed that long was for the upcoming wedding I was planning. Also, most people don't receive correct compensation. This company does not adhere to Labor laws. You are only allowed 2 five minutes break and half hour lunch. I spoke with people who's been working there for 4 years and they are making the same salary they started with.

Pros

You have oppurtunity to make commission, its a laid back enviorment. They give away prizes all the time. If you just need a job while your looking for another job, they are a good start.

Cons

You have to constantly keep up with the fluctuating commission because they will short your check if you dont pay attention. The enviorment is laid back but a little too laid back at times because employees can get loud and that includes the supervisors. They hire you for one thing then switch you to something else, give you shorter hours and give you a few days of pointless training cause you walk out more confused then you did walking in. You cant really plan anything with your check because its based on commission. If you dont sale your check is under 600. If you dont make sales they whine and if you make too many sales they whine and get suspicious. Its mainly a place young people work. 24 and under, so there is a lot of immaturity and temper tantrums going on.

Pros

If you are a top seller you can do whatever you want essentially. People come in late whenever they want. I’ve seen people doing c*ke at the desk. All of these are cons but hey at least there’s a little freedom? Highschool style environment.

Cons

The commission structure is cheeks and the more you sell the more they change the structure to make it harder to earn. Top earners max out at 60 which isn’t much based on how much you have to sell to hit that. Management does not promote from within if you are a top seller. They want you to continue to make them money. Commission is often incorrect which adds to your workload because if it’s incorrect they blame you for not correcting their errors.
