Some solutions that OneTrust provides simply don't work. I sold several deals that churned within the first year due to OneTrust's inability to implement/deploy/support certain tools. There was a movement to hire 300 sales reps, however the company did a hiring freeze for all other positions. This led to tons of new sales reps that didn't have back end support. OT over hired by a massive margin leading to a huge layoff. Early on, OneTrust would give away licenses for free or heavily discounted to claim more market share. This led to low commissions for reps and customers having misleading price points that would later stain the relationship with the customers when OneTrust needed more revenue. Constant growth caused many changes in territories and accounts often frustrating customers. Unfavorable compensation packages. Quotas would be raised mid way through the quarter without any explanation. Some managers hired from the outside had no business managing teams. Often making reps do extra work, for example, filling in a shared pipeline document because they didn't know how to use salesforce reports. Many empty promises made by executives. It took almost 2 years for OneTrust to start paying monthly commission from the moment they announced that they would to the company. Salaries are lower than average Work/Life balance couldn't be worse Work first culture- they claim to be a people first culture company however that couldn't be further from the truth.
