Pros

- Base salary was good - Close to MARTA in Atlanta - Benefits are okay. Running PTO balance allows up to 25 days, at which point you stop accruing.

Cons

- Part of selling point from recruiter and onboarding process was that there would be a 401(k) match by the end of Q1. This never happened. - Company is scattered across 5 floors in two buildings, have to walk across office park multiple times in one day - Senior leadership micromanages employees (because of COVID work from home) requiring check ins every day of "what I did yesterday and what I plan to do today". - Kabir + board dragged feet on COVID response, not allowing work from home until almost a week after comparable businesses - Kabir + Leadership claimed that there was no need to worry about job security due to VC funding, then laid off hundreds of employees just a few weeks later with no warning.

OneTrust has always been an in-office work environment; and like many other companies, we quickly enabled a temporary telecommuting option for our employees during the pandemic for their health and safety. Our teams have always thrived on real-time feedback and collaboration. As such, we have invested in creating a "virtual in-office" environment through tools, processes, and workflows to continue our growth and momentum while we navigate our business through this unprecedented time. Since this is uncharted territory for OneTrust, we implemented daily updates and check-ins to help keep a pulse on the team. We want to help our employees tackle any blockers they may be facing in real time and get feedback on what we can do to make this temporary telework option successful!

- Great colleagues, and also a good opportunity for people looking at a career in privacy/tech. - Nice office/location

Cons

- CEO, probably the most arrogant and cliche CEO I've come across. Treats every meeting as if he is performing a TED talk, venting about how LuCkY you should feel working there. - Management can be very cliquy, making it hard to trust them with information 1:1. - Literally no special benefits offered, other than the bare minimum like maternity leave and a lousy discount scheme (basically useless). - No chance to advance in certain departments. If you do, expect no pay rise. - The company is called OneTrust, but ironically shows no trust in their employees, in regards to working from home, flexible hours etc. - If they don't like you, they have no problem firing you. They recently fired a bunch of staff based on performance, with no prior warning nor possibility to improve. All of this in the middle of COVID-19. - No work/life balance

Where to start.. was hired in January 2020 and they have made us Redundant during the Covid-19 crisis. We where stealth invited to conversations with HR and told we failed probation due to performance when every one of us where putting in 1000% . The CEO does not are for anyone, he told us last week we had 400million in the bank so we are safe and now they are cutting staff around the world. The entire team where wiped out completely and we where not offered furlough just 2 months pay when the job market is empty and the crisis can go on for up to 6 months. This company does not care for any of its staff members, they see you as a number. The CEO even said it was safer coming into the office than at home - what a joke. Stay far away from this company.
