Pros

Good tech stack Good location

Cons

Few director level people have no technical knowledge. They behave like they are ruling the world surviving purely due to political connections. Hire and fire policy .

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. It's disappointing to see you didn't enjoy your time on the Engineering team. We're proud of the modern tech stack our engineers use to create our widely recognized software. We are also reinvesting into our office locations this year, including our Bengaluru office. We look forward to the future enhancements! We are currently growing our R&D team so that we have the right engineering and product pros to develop our solutions. This team is tasked with a meaningful mission - to create software that does good for people and the planet. Our leaders are hiring the right people at the right time to position the company for long-term growth.

Pros

Good benefits, unlimited PTO, great coworkers, and I got a decent laptop with no issues.

Cons

I was hired as a remote employee, they were a remote first company and told me I could stay remote. Then a little while later they laid off 25% of their workforce. Now they have started telling people they have to come into the office twice per week if they live within 40 miles. Also, they are choosing to do this while simultaneously moving their Atlanta office almost 20 miles away from where it is now. It’s a logistical mess. They will tell you one thing now and switch it up in a few months later, so I would not be surprised if within a year they will require everyone to come in to the office every day. Just be prepared for them to switch things like this up on you, no matter what bill of goods they try to sell you when you’re getting hired.

Thank you for taking the time to share your OneTrust experience. It's great to see you enjoyed your benefits package, flexibility, and technology. We couldn't agree more about your coworkers; OneTrust employees are smart, driven, and fun to collaborate with. OT is proud of its people and the relationships they build with each other. OneTrust leaders also value employees and their feedback. A big piece of feedback they've been hearing is that employees want more opportunities to collaborate and celebrate wins together. Our Working@ OneTrust initiative is our way of formalizing where we hire, how we work together, and where we work as part of our hybrid model. The underlying "Why" is that we are intentional about the culture that we want to create together. This includes bringing teams together in-person, throughout the year, to collaborate, build connections, learn from each other, and celebrate our wins to Finish Stronger. We are a young company, but we are growing. As we prepare to hire and grow more this year, we need clarity on the types of roles and skill sets we need and where those roles need to be located to best serve our customers. Like many companies, OneTrust is navigating what it means to operate in a post-pandemic world. Ultimately, we want to be intentional about accelerating the culture we want to build, focused on a customer-first approach. We are aligned and believe the best way to do that is to bring teams together in times that matter – to Connect, Be Curious, and Collaborate.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. The people at OneTrust are one of the main reasons a role at OT is so exciting. They're driven to a common mission and bring unique perspectives and experience. Without them, OneTrust wouldn't be the successful tech company it is today, and our OneTrust leaders are extremely grateful for their continuous hard work. Our Executive Leadership team believes OneTrust should be a place where our people can do their best work. We know there's still work to be done to get there, but they have made a lot of enhancements on teams recently to make this a reality consistently across all teams. They have built out the People team more to support benefits enhancements (including 14+ weeks of parental leave and Modern Health), to conduct regular anonymous employee engagement surveys for soliciting employee feedback, to support the employee experience (hiring our first Director of Employee Experience in March 2024), and to enable performance management at all levels. OneTrust isn't the same company it was when it started in 2016. We have evolved our solutions over time to meet market demand, and it's come with a lot of external and internal changes. We've transitioned from the traditional start-up to a scale-up. We're on a journey to maturity and long-term growth, and this is a natural trajectory for a successful tech company like ours. We are sure there will be more changes in the future as regulations, technology, and society continue to shift, and OneTrust is committed to providing the right lovable, usable solutions to our 14,000+ customers as these changes take place. This dynamic environment is what makes working at OneTrust fun, and we look forward to the future.
