      The environment and the people are top notch. The leadership team has worked hard to build a great environment for people to thrive and succeed, and it worked. The company is growing, positive and an enjoyable place to work.

      Strong Vision and lots of opportunity for growth

      Pros

      SmartIT has a Strong Vision and lots of opportunity for growth. Leadership/Owners have experience in the industry and really care about employees. SmartIT has been a great company to work for. Feedback is heard and responded to, management makes time to answer questions and address concerns. All the tools that are necessary are provided to be successful. The most impressive thing I have seen working with SmartIT is their ability to constantly evolve with the changing market. “This is how we have always done it” is not the mentality. There is a focus on being aware of trends and changes and how can adapt to serve our clients, consultants and employees better. Being a part of this organization and having been able to watch it grow from small/medium to what it is today be a part of the growth and change has been a privilege.

      Cons

      There is not a lot of room to hide, we are a lean organization and everyone needs to pull their weight. If you are an underperformer it is easy to blame the changes for why you are not successful and this can cause some tension and hurt feelings. SmartIT does a lot for their employees and have worked hard to create a culture of open communication and trust and by some it tends to be taken for granted and expected instead of appreciate and met with gratitude which can be frustrating.
