Pros

Owners are very caring. Management is always there to listen and help you succeed and grow with the company! #RESULTS

Cons

I don't have anything that is a disappointment to me about SmartIT. The Owners work hard to make this company successful and even through people want to complain about their job the bottom line is those same people will end up having issues no matter where they work! Drama follows dramatic people!

Pros

Please see advice to Management

Cons

Management will cut your commission to make greater margins for the business without grandfathering the commission you worked for based on a previous compensation structure. If the company cared about employees they would have have cut 40% of a recruiter's commission (when that is the biggest chunk of their salary) without even grandfathering previously earned commission. Clearly the business needed instant margins and is greedy, or they are setting themselves up to sell. Either way it shows a lack of concern for employees.

Pros

Innovative, state of the art office. Some very talented staff. Great office location, easily accessible from most areas of town

Cons

I couldn't stay silent any longer. This site is to be used for current and former employees to give their honest feedback on THEIR own experience at the organization. Sometimes those experiences are good, and sometimes they're bad. Regardless-it's their viewpoint and opinions that those individuals are entitled to. I don't know about the others who have written reviews on here, but personally, I'm disgusted with the company responses. Let's start by saying how dare you question someone's personal life as mentioned in a review dated 9/24. If this site is truly anonymous, it only leaves it to pure speculation as to who had wrote their experience. Like it or not, you can't change it. The employee engagement department should have fully known the turmoil cooking at the organization the past several months, and if any negative reviews come as a shock it shows only how disengaged the engagement department is. Upper management should also hold themselves to the HIGHEST professionalism regarding behavior and actions. Shame on anyone for trying to make a villain of former and current employees, and to try to assassinate their character on a public forum. Not only are these company replies unprofessional and immature, but they're written in a bullying and shaming manner. How do these responses do anything positive for SmartIT? Negative press is not good for boasting about how great the organization is to work for. I am sure the competition is getting the biggest laugh out of this circus. What a mess! People considering employment with SmartIT are going to read these things. If the company treats people well, the employees will do everything in their power to make the company successful.

Onebridge Response

As the sole member of the Engagement Department, I’m truly sorry if you are upset with any of the responses. Unfortunately - using anonymous forums and indirect communication puts everyone at risk to interpret messages differently. These forums don’t allow people to work out frustrations or solve problems directly. If the response posted on 9/24 seemed harsh or bullying, that wasn’t the intention, and we don’t believe that to be reflective of the content. It was intended to be direct, and we believe that was achieved. While we appreciate the anonymous concern for the company brand, we believe these messages/issues would be better handled directly, in-person. We strongly encourage you to utilize our open-door policy to work with any member of our leadership team including our owners who are available on-site everyday. We are confident that with direct-communication and honest collaboration, we can collectively design a format for responses which pleases everyone. I really appreciate you saying that you would love to see us succeed - we hope you are willing to help be part of the solution, and we hope to hear from you directly very soon. Thanks!
