Pros

Generous vacation for salaried employees

Cons

Everything else. Think about the worst job possible and this is it. Management, especially the executives, only care about the bottom line, surprise. Look into the financials of the company, the board is made up of cronies in other business ventures. The COO used to work for Examworks where some board members worked. Don’t be fooled. They only care about investors and not employees. Example, benefits increased for 2021 but pay didn’t despite what a successful year the company had. Look deeper into the people working here; a majority of employees from acquisitions fail to stay on longer than 3 years. Why? Unreasonable expectations. Low pay, poor management, on the fly policy making, unsupportive teams. They talk about working as one company, yet everyone is only concerned about their own group goals. Stay away and don’t listen to the false promises.

Pros

Fun work environment, casual dress code, opportunity for overtime

Cons

Young managers are inexperienced which causes a problem with passive aggressive behavior and retaliation tactics, minimal (if any) opportunities for career advancement, pitiful pay raises. I don’t think the last pay raise was based on performance either. You can give 110% and receive nothing in return. They also stopped 401K matching and I have no clue when it will return. It’s a good job to get your feet wet but there’s multiple reasons why the turnover rate is high.
