-You’ll learn a bunch your first month then nothing after. This a job a highschooler could do. Braindead work. -High turnover rate with experience that’s too specialized. Everyone in the field wants to leave, but has trouble because they can’t relate their work. -Too many contacts, everyone is overworked including managers. If you had time off there’s a chance you’ll need to cover a project last minute. -You need to be single and pet-less because any of those responsibilities are impossible with this work schedule/ travel. -Upwards growth is rare. They want to keep techs in the field. -Some toxic managers -Lonely work -Laughable raises and bonuses. Field techs get nada
