Pros

Fantastic Colleagues and Exceptional Teams: The highlight of this company is undoubtedly the supportive and talented coworkers, and there are some truly phenomenal teams making a real impact. Great Coworkers and Efforts to Build Culture (Though Uneven): The colleagues are a major plus, and the company is trying to build a strong culture and community, but leadership engagement needs improvement for broader success.

Cons

Top-Down Communication Failures Lead to Confusion: Poor communication from leadership creates uncertainty and hinders productivity. Zero Transparency from Leadership Destroys Trust: The lack of openness from leadership fosters a culture of distrust and speculation. Fear is the Dominant Motivator: The company culture relies heavily on fear, leading to anxiety and low morale. Unrealistic Startup Demands for Insufficient Pay: Employees are burdened with the high-pressure demands of a startup without receiving appropriate compensation.

Pros

Pay is alright, could be a lot better compared to the market rate.

Cons

If anyone finds this post: DO NOT WORK HERE. I AM WARNING YOU. Easily the most toxic backwards tech company I've ever worked for. The CEO has no business running that company - no tech background, no municipal government background, no sales background. You'll get no support from anyone ever and everyone you like will be fired with in 6 months.

Pros

Great colleagues, thriving culture, contributing to an honorable mission of powering more effective and accountable government. The work you do has a real world impact.

Cons

Comp should be more in line with larger tech.

Thanks for the feedback. It’s great to hear you feel the strength of the culture, the impact of the mission, and the support of your colleagues. We're glad you're here, and we know compensation is a part of feeling valued. We regularly benchmark against market data and geography to keep our compensation competitive, while also focusing on promoting from within so employees can grow with us.
