From my first interview at OpenSesame, I knew this place was something special. While it’s well noted among our customers, I got to experience the OpenSesame magic in-person at our company offsite last week after working remotely for 2 months. It didn’t disappoint. The people of OpenSesame are the real deal, authentic and passionate about serving their customers and marketplace at every turn. Leadership walks the walk—and then some. They are truly focused on learning and developing people—internally and externally. Great place to work and to grow your career.

Really good people, extremely transparent leadership, culture feels like one big team with a 'family' feel. Genuine care and action for well-being of employees, and diversity is a way of life.

Cons

While there is a ton of autonomy in most departments, there is also a lot of constant monitoring of OKR progress and activities from top leadership. While this can be critical for ensuring annual goal attainment, the high frequency of tracking gets tedious and can sometimes feel discouraging and micro-managing when progress isn't always in sync with models that are inherently subject to many variables in data and other factors.
