Pros

All around it is a great experience working for OpenText. It's clear that some of the employees who've been here a long time have experienced a lot of change (good and bad) but that's natural considering how much M&A there has been. -Colleagues are knowledgeable and helpful which has been useful considering the steep learning curve. People are interesting and down to earth, they're professional and care about being good at what they do but they're not workaholics and don't take it too far. -The benefits are great. I'm sure there are other tech employers who offer better but OpenText are far ahead of the UK average. I truly have work life balance, the equipment is great and private healthcare for my partner and I has had an unbelievable affect on our lives. The training budget is high and there is areal encouragement for professional learning. -Commitment to flexible working comes from the CEO down and Covid has been taken really seriously which gives me the feeling that employee well being is taken seriously. - Corporate charitable giving is often questionable because so many companies do it for marketing purposes or tax breaks, but I genuinely believe that the CEO cares about social good on a personal level and the giving is far higher here than at previous employers.

Cons

- Many of the processes are very slow and long winded. This is normal for a multinational but I think some processes could be a lot better and leadership aren't aware of how slow some of them are. - Path and deliverables for promotion could be clearer.

Pros

Opentext has one of the greatest benefit system for their employees. In addition to the government mandated benefits, there is an additional allowance for medicine, vitamins, gym and massages. The company also focuses on work-life balance with numerous side activities for wmployees to enjoy. There is also a yearly catering for employees to start the new fiscal year. Overall a great company who values their employees, regardless of nationality and gender.

Cons

There isn't too much of cons I can say. There is normal office politics but not increasingly damaging compared to other companies.
