      Pros

      Open Text is a fast-paced and rapidly changing work environment. Working in the marketing department was a great experience and I had an outstanding manager. My manager encouraged us to exceed expectations and the resources were provided for us to learn new skills and fulfill our potential. The company recognizes high performers and frequently promotes from within. Also, the company is very accommodating to employees who want to commute or work remotely.

      Cons

      I question whether former employees are "black-listed" once they choose to leave. I would not consider the work culture to be particularly welcoming or social - it may take a while to get to know people (compared to other corporations). I have heard of low employee retention rates, but I am not sure why and cannot confirm the accuracy of those rumors.

      Ecm market is mature and sharepoint gains on ot's space Middle management useless Tme consuming micro management since the arrival of new ceo No link whatsoever between the technologies bought No investment on employees No career evolution at all Be ready to be a clone that does not count
