Pros

The acquisitions team is great at finding hidden undervalued gems of companies to acquire, and it is exciting to be involved in this process if you happen to be involved in the finance aspect of things. The company is good at enabling work/life balance and the health benefits are good.

Cons

Finance & accounting dominates the company culture and does not mesh well with the more risk-embracing aspects of the R&D organization.

Pros

Excellent and affordable benefits. Strong comraderie and excellent communication found at the "worker bee" level. Opportunities to learn new technologies.

Cons

Little room for advancement due to the siloed nature of the organization. Communication and direction from Senior Management is not effective. The "growth by aquisition" approach taken leads to customer confusion and frustration, which is then taken out on those on the front line - customer service, support and delivery teams. Any attempt to influence meaningful chage is regarded hostilly by middle management.
