Pros

Remote work flexibility is the main benefit.

Cons

Very heavy at the top with senior leadership roles full of yes men. Massive inefficiencies of making decisions and laying out strategies. The penny pinching for everyone below Director level is demoralizing...terrible 401k match, no career paths, no team building efforts, no business travel, freeze on pay increases, no transparency on bonus performance, random layoffs without direct manager input, the list goes on.

Pros

I originally came here by way of acquisition, and basically kept my role, salary, leadership, etc. from the acquired company. No idea what this would look like for someone hired directly. So the pros (that mostly came with me) were: - good pay - good work-life balance - great team - interesting and challenging work (security)

Cons

This list is mostly comprised of things that _didn't_ cross over from the acquired company: - subpar benefits - no career path - general rigidity and dogmatism, where flexibility / open-mindedness would have been more beneficial to the company. E.g. they not only missed, but actually fought the opportunity to transition to a hybrid workforce model during Covid that many other companies capitalized on
