Layoffs happen often

Pros

Nice managers usually, and hours are good

Cons

They tend to do layoffs regularly about twice a year. Growth is through aquisitions mostly. They tend to underpay and know they do.

Pros

OpenText offers a stable work environment with solid benefits and a strong global presence. The company has a broad portfolio of enterprise products, which gives employees exposure to large-scale, complex projects. Work-life balance is generally reasonable depending on the team, and there are opportunities to collaborate with knowledgeable and experienced colleagues. The company is also well-established in the enterprise information management space, which provides a sense of job security.

Cons

The organization can feel quite hierarchical and slow-moving, especially when it comes to decision-making and adopting new technologies. Internal processes are often complex and sometimes inefficient, which can impact productivity. Career growth opportunities exist but may require patience and proactive effort, as advancement isn’t always clearly structured. Communication between leadership and teams can also be inconsistent at times.

A very weird vibe

Pros

I can't think of any

Cons

Weird politics, uncommunicative management, and generally not a good environment. A lot of politics, backstabbing, and not communicating with employees -- not a great way to help employees thrive.
