Horrible! AVOID!

Business Outlook

Pros

Pay is ok - you can ask up to 70k/year +18K annual bonus

Cons

- managers are cold and not present when in time of need - escalations, prioritizations - usually takes a day to get assistance and, after, there is a chance you may be asked to provide explanations as to why you did not respond faster -.- - no proper feedback, no salary increase - almost absent training - no tools - everything is done in excel & word - no process policies, no proper guidelines - colleagues are dismissive and lazy - architects are lazy to fill in their forms and expect you to read their minds - you're expected to do the work without any guidance - work split between teams is ridiculous: US teams handle 2 deals, EMEA between 30 and 100+ deals / head. - HR is absent - or plain lazy, disorganized. If you have issues - God bless if they respond, but will be for nothing as the information will most likely be redundant WARNING: if you join mid month or after - you will not be paid in that month, but the next and none will warn you about it. Overall- ridiculous stupid. Avoid if you want to have a healthy nervous system.

COMMON PROS AND CONS

Recommend
CEO approval
Business Outlook

Pros

1. Culture. 2. Flexi Time. 3. Land on a team with reliable and responsible team mates and an understanding manager, everything else will be less stressful. 4. Office location

Cons

1. You are expected to deliver / do 4 types of work from analysis to implementation while your salary is for a single role job only. 2. Jedi certification is considered as a requirement rather than an advantage in order to be promoted. 3. Programming in AI is not engaging enough when there is no proper tool for developers to use, people are using notepad++ when doing maps. 4. Process per project is different instead of one standard practice across. 5. Constant restructuring of teams when something is not working.

Pros

The benefits were okay enough.

Cons

Opentext slowly strangled our product by refusing to replace heads on the dev/qa team after attrition. Felt like Opentext wasn't willing to make the work place or culture a place people wanted to be in by incentivizing them with nice to haves (again, company was acquired by Opentext).
