MBN - Management By Numbers

Pros

We are all NUMBERS. Low pay after 30 years. Senior in Age. Excellent excellent excellent performance reviews over 30 years. Given huge responsibilities which resulted in saving the company millions of dollars. LET GO the moment the company had a desire to meet their financial targets.

Cons

The PRO’ just listed sound more like the Cons, but the real con is the smiling faces of those in management that look you in the eye and say OUTSTANDING job, then they have their minions let you go with 10 minutes of notice.

Thank you for your feedback. As the company grows through acquisition, there will unavoidably be some duplication in roles which may lead to team structure rebalancing to ensure that the appropriate level of skill is attributed to each area of the business. As and when these changes may happen, information is provided to employees as early as possible in line with legal requirements. We try as much as possible to support team members in finding opportunities in other areas of the business, should their areas be impacted by restructuring.

Pros

Fair market value salary and benefits

Cons

Massively disorganized organization. Terrible ticketing systems( Service Manager 9, which Opentext now own) Too many ticketing systems, SM9/Jira and loads of other adhoc ones. Isolated staff scattered throughout the world and not in the same office, hard to collab and also leads to staff turnover as this was my main reason for leaving. Overtime and on-call pay is constantly delayed. I only recieved 5 months of this pay today instead of monthly. A significant amount of chasing tickets that are ignored or just closed without work being done.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review for us. As the organization evolves and we go through a period of transition, there is a lot of information shared with employees, which we understand can be confusing at times, for some. Leaders have regular meetings to discuss important topics and keep abreast of the latest developments. We welcome feedback from employees to understand what improvements can be made around sharing information, as we grow.
