1. Free breakfast and lunch 2. No matter if you finish your work or not, No one escalate until customer asks

1. Legacy technology all over bangalore and they say that "You just name the technology and we have it in our team" during interview process. Many applications still use Primefaces,GWT,JSP, Closure framework, Dropwizard 2. No one cares weather you stay or not 3. No internal job switching. they say during interview process that we are flexible 4. They don't show any respect employees and they don't even ask why u r leaving. Even there is no HR discussion. Worst HR management.

1. Office cab pick-up and drop-off provided on corporate days. 2. Free breakfast and lunch offered on corporate days. 3. Timely salary payments. 4. Overall office culture is decent and mostly professional (individual experience may vary depending on the team and manager).
Cons
1. Management is not very transparent and can sometimes be misleading, which occasionally leads to work-related anxiety. 2. Redundant compliance policies negatively affect innovation and engineering. 3. The company is filled with legacy products that have unclear documentation and a lack of knowledgeable resources, resulting in significant technical debt. 4. Work-from-home options are no longer available.

Worst management and dirty politics they do quarterly lay-offs,if you see the trend even ceo and higher management people change quarterly,they removed more than 800 employees in March 2026 who did really perform well and got good performance ratings in recent appraisal,and they have a plan in coming June 2026 with a big number, kindly do due diligence before joining Opentext
