Pros

Determined and motivated teachers and counselors. The job consisted of speaking with parents, conducting orientations, inventory management, and providing assistance to teachers/ principal as needed.

Cons

Management would turn their heads to serious employee concerns, favoritism was evident and leadership was minimal.

Pros

Great support from administration, excellent training, and supportive staff. Teachers work with students in small groups, so you are truly able to build meaningful connections and help them reach their educational goals. I highly recommend OFY, specifically the VV4 school site.

Cons

I had worked online/hybrid for OFY this past year (2021), and I just lived too far away from the school site to commute Monday-Friday when we returned to in-person teaching. I would have loved to stay with OFY but they did not have any fully online positions at the time.
