Pros

The opportunity to be a part of one of the most pivotal organizations in the security industry. The ability to help clients throughout the entire security program life cycle, from project to program. The colleagues you work along with are among the most professional in their fields.

Cons

Change is not easy, and this is a period of evolution. Flexibility is required, but there is plenty of work to be done for those that apply themselves.

My Advice... Don't Walk... RUN AWAY!

Pros

Stepping stone into the Cyber Security Industry, easy to get a job after you apply to a competitor -- and you both stop laughing long enough to compare horror stories about Optiv, Accuvant, and/or Fishnet.

Cons

I gave these bozo's 2 month's notice before leaving. After I left they documented my termination as 'involuntary,' as if... ?!? The reason? I challenged management on their moronic behavior. These people have meetings to schedule more meetings, to have the 'underlings,' who are more qualified than the managers, coach their legion of managers in things that the managers should already be qualified to do. If you're unlucky enough to work for a former Fishnet manager, if there are any left, the manager will throw you under the bus faster than a beam of light travels from the sun, to save their job; which is being monitored closely by former Accuvant management, who are looking for 'any reason' to get rid of Fishnet people. I found another job job and 'wow' has life never been better. The stress of working at this wacky company nearly destroyed my marriage. My advice? RUN!

Pros

Coworkers are the best part. Everyone is very supportive and willing to help at the drop of a dime.

Cons

Project Managers are extremely overworked. 50-60 projects per PM. Management was attempting to decrease this number of projects per PM, but hadn't come up with an efficient way. Projects range from 40 hours to 400+ hours. Lack of process and documentation. Learn by being thrown into the fire. No training on products/services
