      Great company culture and opportunity

      Pros

      The company offers great opportunity for career and income growth. Management allows their employees to be themselves and share their opinions. The information security space is growing rapidly and as a market leader Optiv is a great place to be.

      Cons

      The rapid growth and merger are causing growing pains and there are still system challenges that need to be resolved. It would also help if some of the systems were streamlined to remove additional work from the employees

      No Pros thus far; see Cons.

      Cons

      Hired under false pretenses (told I would receive one salary and got much less) - Good ol' boy system, can not go up the chain with issues because they all support each others mistakes and wrong-doings, only looking out for themselves - cheating consultants out of bonus $$$ by shaving off their utilization time - Low salary pay with high travel that a taxed bonus does not make up for - All around disappointed with how this company runs and how they treat their employees

      Pros

      Laid back and young engineers ..good learning environment . A lot of stuff to learn and can get overwhelming at first but I think it pays off well after the first year.

      Cons

      Pay is less compared to other companies.company is getting bigger and bigger and the corporate structure is kicking in slowly ..creating confusion among departments and rivalry.
