Pros

Great boss and team. There is currently a lot of potential for growth. Great PTO policy.

Cons

Optum employees are massively underpaid and the bonus structure is constantly being changed making it nearly impossible to receive any kind of bonus, it is impossible to get the maximum bonus at this point. Benefits for health insurance and 401k are way below average.

Pros

Great PTO, Work remote, Flexible hours

Cons

Upward mobility doesn’t necessarily translate to significant pay increase Traction for innovative ideas of any kind can be very hard to come by in such a large corporation
