Pros

There's a Caribou if you like that sort of thing.

Cons

Does not care one bit about employees. Constant mass layoffs and re-orgs. Below-average salaries and generic benefits. Greedy leadership. Morale horrible. Don't drink the Kool-Aid.

Pros

Great benefits and compensation package

Cons

I worked for a program called ISNP which manage patients in long term care facilities. I can't speak for all markets but this market is horrible which includes (Southbend, NWI and Chicagoland area) Management are tyrants. It wasn't always that way. It use to be a great place to work but all the great perks they started out with are slowly taken away. It was a flexible job at first, but now they demand you stay in your buildings for the full 8hours instead of having the flexibility to manage your schedule. They require you stay over your shift but will not compensate your time. Don't expect work and life balance, that is a joke. You spend all day at the facilities putting out fires only to have to go home and complete the actually work you are suppose to do. There is no room for growth and they don't support individual growth. It is all political. They selected new grads into leadership positions that run a dictatorship that didn't know how to talk and treat their staff. They tell you that we work as a team but always dump the extra workloads on selected people. They show favoritism and take the burden off of other people and give the extra workload to a selected nurse practitioners.

Top Heavy Management Organization

Pros

Ability to work remote. Muscle of UnitedHealth Group. Bonuses (if your manager doesn't undercut you).

Cons

Too many Type A personalities. My manager was hyper-critical of everything I did...which is why I left the organization. There are way too many VPs and high end managers...it makes standard work approves a nightmare...since you have to go through so many levels to get approvals. There are also too many group changes...org charts change every other week.
