      Many of the jobs end up being outsourced to the Philippines, must endure much verbal abuse from customers, it’s all about who you know, they do not help to pay for at home office equipment

      Absolutely destroyed my professional career

      They were okay ten or so years ago. Heck, five years ago they were at least tolerable.

      Cons

      Worst benefits package ever. We lost paid holidays, sick leave, and reasonable health insurance all in the last few years. One of our SVPs actually suggested we pursue insurance on the exchange because the in-house offering was so awful. I was caught up in one of the rounds of layoffs in 2023, and we were all placed on the "do not rehire" list "for security purposes." Yeah, same company that fired its InfoSec division a month before suffering the largest ransomware attack in history, orchestrated by the very foreign workers they brought in to replace us. So, because *they* are bitter that their plans didn't work out, *I* can't get steady work, and I can't very well delete ten years of work history. I have no gap in my resume until after working for these guys. They screwed me and everyone else they got rid of.
